Ken Kennedy

Mr. Kennedy was the Chief Operating Officer for CSG International (NASDAQ: CSGS) where he managed a P&L of more than $900M and a staff of 4,600 employees. At CSG, Mr. Kennedy led the product strategy, software engineering, global sales, services, and operations. CSG offers a broad portfolio of software solutions and Mr. Kennedy set the strategy for sustaining mature product offerings while introducing new cloud-based solutions. Mr. Kennedy was an Executive Officer for CSG and a regular participant in CSG Board Meetings where he provided updates on the corporate strategy, the results for the business, and strategies for risk management. During Mr. Kennedy’s time with CSG, the company grew revenue from $240M to $1.1B.

Mr. Kennedy radically transformed engineering practices while at CSG. As a result, the time-to-market for new feature development was reduced from an average of 18 months to 45 days. Also, service disruptions for the SaaS product line were reduced by 98% over 5 years.

Mr. Kennedy led a global sales team that secured more than $300M total contract value annually. Mr. Kennedy also led a global services team responsible for software implementations in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Mr. Kennedy managed CSG’s public and private cloud infrastructure. He was responsible for hosting CSG offerings and Corporate IT for 6,000 employees. He led the migration of significant workloads from a private data center to the public cloud and he also oversaw CSG’s Cybersecurity practice.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kennedy founded Telution, a start-up focused on delivering software to the Telecommunications industry. Telution was funded by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and M/C Partners. Telution was acquired by CSG for $30M in 2006.

Mr. Kennedy has been a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors for five years.
